A new element to the Clear.fi laptops, Acer’s new media-sharing system based on the idea that it’s easier if all multimedia content is just in a single system with a common interface. Clear.fi is a cross-platform solution that works right out of the box, automatically detecting the Clear.fi-enabled devices connected to the wireless home network. The press release also states that the laptops are “environmentally aware”, something we very much doubt – although not to adopt “technology, materials and processes that meet current international standards”, whatever that means?
