It was a busy day than in Las Vegas at CES, and not more than the LG that seem to have all relevant technical bases. The latest announcement from the company regarding its new Premium Notebook lineup with three new models in detail.
Starting with the flagship A520 LG, this is a 3D machine with FPR Full HD technology on board. “The film Patterned Retarder (FPR) optimizes the separation of images for the left and right eye, which are then filtered through the lens to give viewers really great, blur-free 3D images,” says the official release.
It has a 15.6-inch, full 1080p display of the LED backlit LCD screen and packs a Sandy Bridge or i5 i7 CPU. The graphics are powered by Nvidia, the GeForce 540 GT with 2GB memory from the top option. Sound is courtesy of a wide SRS 3D sound system and there is Blu-ray playback, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, and HDMI like on HP 17-1181NR Envy. The P420 and P210 are very similar in appearance, except for their screen sizes, the 14-inch and 12.5-inch former on the latter.
